Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of St. John XXIII Parish. To receive an application or obtain more information, please call the Parish Office at 570-225-7410 .

A parish is a community of believers and a spiritual family that is supportive and loving. It can be a place to grow spiritually, to put your faith in action, and to use our gifts of time and talent as disciples of Christ. We look forward to answering any questions you may have. In the meantime, please look through the resources we’ve made available on the pages under the Our Faith tab.

How does this process work?

Obtain an application. Pick up an application at the parish office or call the office and the application will be mailed to you.

Please complete the application – make sure to fill in all the questions – then return the application by mail or drop it off at the office.

Once we receive the application, someone will contact you to confirm that we have received it. Please make sure we are aware if you are from another faith and you will need the Catholic Sacraments.

Please take a moment to attend Mass and introduce yourself to our priest – Check the website for our Mass times.

Once all the information is processed into the system, you will receive information in the mail about the options available for offerings. Choose the option that is best for you.

If you are new to the Catholic faith, or will need any of the Sacraments, please make sure that we are aware and we will speak to you about the necessary preparation to receive the Sacrament(s).
