Bricks or donation can also be dropped off at the Parish office
We, at St. John XXIII Parish, have a vision – a vision for a beautiful memorial stone to honor babies who were victims of abortion.
But that’s not all – our vision includes surrounding the memorial with a beautiful Prayer Garden for grieving, reflecting, praying, meditating, or just sitting quietly to get away from it all.
Here you will be able to connect closely with God in the beauty of His creation, to allow His presence to bring peace and healing. We all have wounds from past experiences and lost loved ones. This will be the perfect place to begin to heal from those wounds.
The garden will be used for private prayers, group prayers, and memorial services, including the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, and will be open for Tamaqua, surrounding areas, or anyone who would like to visit. We are so excited to bring this Garden Memorial to our communities.
St. John XXIII Parish is inviting you to be a permanent part of making this dream become a reality and helping others. We are offering an opportunity to purchase a brick, stone, or bench for the garden. This can be purchased as a donation or in memory of a loved one lost through abortion, still birth, miscarriage, suicide, or drug overdose. You can have their name(s) engraved and also add a simple emblem that you can choose from a list.
